Nigerian media personality Toke Makinwa is still basking in the euphoria of being a new mum.
To celebrate the new month, Toke shared throwback maternity shoot, as she revealed that the month of September smells like bloom season. The former OAP revealed that she is still soaking up all the feels and can’t believe what a difference a year can make.
Expressing gratitude to God, she wrote,

Just a day back, while signing out of the month of August, the former OAP revealed that she was obsessed with her daughter and had been taking pictures of her. She appreciated the past month for bringing her the best gift ever, as she expressed her happiness in becoming someone’s mummy.
Newsunplug reported last week that the former OAP had welcomed her first child, a baby girl, named Yakira Eliana. Toke revealed that this is the happiest she has ever been as her daughter has shown her the love she never knew existed.
In a note to her newborn, Toke noted how her daughter had changed her status and healed the broken heart she had carried since she was 8. Toke said she was already drowning in her big ol’ eyes and learning so much of her. The proud mother revealed that she had done her daughter’s first manicure and couldn’t help but imagine their future spa dates.
On her podcast, the former OAP broke down in tears as she reflected on her trials, revealing that she prayed to God that she wanted to turn 40 being a mum. She said that God answered her prayers as she got pregnant the next month after her 40th birthday.
After gracing the cover of Marie Claire magazine, Toke revealed that she had spent months afraid of what could go wrong and wanted to run away. She said she became weird and didn’t want to share her joy with the world, and then she remembered that the gift of the Lord makes so much riches without adding sorrow.
