Victor Osimhen has once again reiterated the need for the Super Eagles to qualify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, NEWSUNPLUG reports.

The Super Eagles failed to qualify for the last edition of the global soccer fiesta hosted by Qatar.

Eric Chelle’s side are looking to make it to next year’s finals through the playoffs having failed to secure automatic qualification.

The West Africans defeated Gabon 4-1 in the semi-final of the playoffs on Thursday.

They will face Democratic Republic of Congo in the final in Rabat on Sunday.

Osimhen Insists they have the quality to get the job done.

“We can get it done,” Osimhen told ESPN.

“We have the squad to actualize this dream of going to the World Cup because everyone wants to go to the World Cup.”
