Super Falcons Esther Okoronkwo,  produced a sensational performance to guide AFC Toronto into the inaugural Northern Super League (NSL) final.

Okoronkwo shines: Three early goals secure semifinal victory

Her three quick goals in the first half paved the way for a 4-1 triumph over the Montreal Roses at a snow-covered York Lions Stadium.

Okoronkwo’s clinical finishing gave Toronto an early advantage, allowing the team to dominate possession and control the tempo of the match.

Coach praises forward’s leadership and big-match performance

Her speed, precision, and awareness on the pitch were evident, as she linked effectively with teammates to create multiple scoring opportunities.

“The team’s effort was incredible today,” Okoronkwo said. “I was able to find the net early, but it was the coordination and support from my teammates that made the difference.”

Toronto coach Marko Milanović highlighted the forward’s consistency and leadership on the field.

Toronto Prepares for NSL Final Against Vancouver Rise

“Esther brings energy and focus to every game. She inspires the team and performs when it matters most. Today was a perfect example of her impact.”

Lauren Rowe added the fourth goal late in the second half, while Montreal grabbed a consolation strike, leaving the final score 4-1.

Toronto now advances to face Vancouver Rise in the NSL final at BMO Field this Saturday, following a disciplined and confident display.
