Aunty Esther, a popular influencer on X (formerly Twitter), has received overwhelming support from Nigerians after appealing for help during her fight with cancer.
According to previous reports by Newsunplug, social media users expressed concern after a video of Aunty Esther in visible pain went viral. In the clip, she was seen struggling on her bed while battling breast cancer, showing the affected area of her chest and pleading for assistance.
Supporters quickly responded, expressing sympathy and asking how they could contribute financially to her treatment. Within hours of the video circulating online, donations started pouring in through another influencer, Wizarab.
At the time of this report, a total of N16 million had been raised to support Aunty Esther’s medical expenses. Sharing the update on his X account, Wizarab wrote:
“We are now at N16m. Cancer treatment costs a lot. Please keep raising it.”
