Suspected motorcycle snatchers k!lled a commercial motorcyclist identified as Joseph Abeegye in Makurdi, Benue State.

The incident occurred at Nyesom Wike Street on Monday night, June 16, 2025.

It was gathered that the assailants ambushed the victim, shot him and fled with his motorcycle.

A family member, Elder Murphy Jude Tsetim Ormbagwen confirmed the incident in a Facebook post.

“The worst has happened to me this night. Bike snatchers shot my cousin Joseph Abeegye d3ad and took his bike this night at Nyisom Wike street. Kai God,” he wrote.
