A suspected motorcycle thief was apprehended in Akwanga, Nasarawa State
The suspect was apprehended on Wednesday morning, February 25, 2026, at the Nasarawa State College of Education (COEA), Akwanga.
The suspect, identified as Desmond Musa, said to be from Agyaragu Duduguru, was arrested by the institution’s security personnel while allegedly attempting to steal a motorcycle within the college premises.
Sources within the institution confirmed that the swift intervention of the college security team led to his capture before the motorcycle could be taken away.
The suspect has been handed over to relevant security agencies for further investigation and possible prosecution.
