The Ogun State-owned security outfit, So-Safe Corps, has arrested a notorious thief, Adegboyega Sulaimon Adesanya, for stealing two power generators.

The Corps spokesperson, Moruf Yusuf, in a statement on Thursday, March 9, 2023, said the suspect was apprehended by operatives of the corps while on routine patrol at 5:30 am on Tuesday in Ijebu-Ode.

According to the statement, the suspect was caught stealing two Okayama and Elepaq generating sets from a house on Adelaja Street.

Upon interrogation, the suspect confessed to the crime and promised to reveal his criminal operation techniques.

The suspect had previously been accused of breaking into a poultry at Idomowo, Ijebu Ode and making away with several fowls.

He has been transferred to the Nigeria Police Force, Obalende Divisional Police Headquarter for further investigation and prosecution.
