The Taliban-ruled Afghanistan Government has offered to send their professional floggers to Nigeria to teach the proper flogging technique.
The social media handle of the Taliban Public Relations Department made the offer while reacting to the flogging of two suspected generator thieves apprehended in Port Harcourt, Rivers State on Tuesday, September 19, 2023.
“This flogging is disorganised, and disorderly, and causes the convicts unnecessary distress. If such practices persist, the industry as a whole will suffer. We are willing to send our heroic professional floggers to Africa to teach the proper technique,” the post reads.
