Movie director Tchidi Chikere has announced his third marriage.
He decided to marry another wife after his second marriage with actress Nuella Njuigbo ended in 2021.
Chikere, whose Instagram post location showed Vermont, USA; said he tied the knot with his new bride some months ago in the States.
He shared photos with his new wife without her face showing but captured her diamond ring.
Captioning the ‘not-too clear’ pictures, the 47-year-old filmmaker explained they were screenshots done by his sister while they engaged in video calling.
He wrote,
“Had no idea my elder sister was screenshotting as wifey and I spoke to her on video calling.. chai. candid picture.”
Feeling the need to share his joy with his fans and friends who’ve been in the dark about the development, Chikere captioned yet another post,
“Married! We did it here some months ago.. just so my friends and fans know I’m okay and HAPPY. God is on the throne.
“Taken!” was the word that accompanied the photo displaying his new bride’s ringed finger with her diamond ring on.
But the filmmaker’s next post suggested fans and some social media users didn’t receive the news with ‘joy’ as he went ahead to advise individuals on the need to seek happiness no matter how long it takes and keep giving marriage a shot regardless of how many times they’d failed.
“Someone needs to hear this advice. No one will pay you for how long you waited. How long you stayed unhappy. How long you were alone.
“We are all solitary birds.. choose you! Love your real friends. Fall in love with a good woman or man. No matter how long it takes you to find him/or her or how many times you try. You have only one life.
“Most of all, be at peace with God”, he added.
The entertainment mogul shares three sons with his first wife, actress Sophia, and a daughter with his second wife, actress Nuella Njubigbo.
In April 2022, after his colleague, Yul Edochie announced he had married a second wife, Chikere hailed him, a move that earned him some bashing from the online community.
