Former Ajax and Manchester United manager, Erik ten Hag, has said he will not take any new job until July 1.

Ten Hag has been out of work since he was sacked by the Red Devils in October.

The Dutchman has since been replaced by Ruben Amorim, who is also struggling at Old Trafford, with the team now in 15th place.

Amorim replaced Ten Hag during the November international break and has found it difficult to impose his ideas on the squad.

Ten Hag has now said he does not plan to take charge of any team in the middle of a campaign.

“I had already decided for myself, okay, I’m not doing anything until the first of July,” he said in a short clip of an upcoming interview for SEG Stories.

He goes on to add: “If there’s one thing I miss, it’s Old Trafford.

“You’re always working towards a dot on the horizon, but you never get to the horizon.

“We’ve had many highs, there is always room for improvement and good is not enough. You can do better.”
