Popular Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has regained her freedom following her arrest over serious allegations made against Pastor Chris Okafor.

The drama began weeks ago when Ogala accused the clergyman of reneging on a marriage promise and claimed she had undergone an abortion during their alleged relationship.

Her arrest, which occurred amidst threats to release further “evidence,” sparked significant debate online.

High-profile figures, including activist VeryDarkMan (VDM) and Omoyele Sowore, publicly called for her release.

Breaking her silence on Instagram shortly after being freed, Ogala expressed deep gratitude to those who intervened in her case. “Thank you Sowore. Thank you so much to my ratel kong. VDM,” she wrote, acknowledging their roles in securing her release from police custody.

While she is now out of detention, the controversy remains a trending topic as fans await her next move regarding the allegations.
