VeryDarkMan has reacted to a viral video showing his family’s compound, addressing criticism circulating online.
In a statement shared on social media, he clarified that the property belongs to his extended family and defended his personal choices regarding living conditions and finances.
“Yes It’s my community,and it’s our family compound. I appreciate the person that went and made this video because it has really shown the high level of integrity.
And for the records, a home is a place you make comfortable for yourself. So charity begins at home doesn’t mean i should use the NGO money and go and renovate My grand father’s compound. I’m comfortable where I’m, and here is my home. When i make my own money i can build my house but not NGO’s money”.
He further addressed those criticizing him directly, redirecting attention to other family members.
“The right people to drag is Mr. VINCENT OTSE, my Dad and not me. He’s still very much alive, Same with his brothers (my uncles) and my other cousins. So why dragging me?”
