Pastor Chris Okafor, founder of the Mountain of Liberation and Miracle Ministry, popularly known as Liberation City, has continued to speak out amid the controversy involving Nollywood actress Doris Ogala.
The actress had earlier taken to Instagram to make a series of allegations against the cleric and also granted several interviews in which she spoke about an alleged romantic relationship with him before her arrest.
In a video currently circulating online, Pastor Okafor was seen addressing his church members during a wedding thanksgiving service, where he briefly reacted to the ongoing saga.
He described the situation as painful, noting that being wrongly accused of something he neither did nor stood for was deeply hurtful. The pastor stressed that he was approaching the issue with maturity, adding that anyone making claims should be ready to back them up with evidence.
He further hinted that many people would be surprised by those allegedly supporting Doris Ogala, but said he could not disclose details since the matter is now under police investigation. According to him, speaking further could interfere with the legal process.
