Nigerian music star Davido has given an update on his messy custody battle with ex, Sophia Momodu.
Newsunplug reported two days ago that social media users were left gobsmacked by news of Davido losing his cool in court.
Lawyer Maruf Muhammed, via Twitter, alleged that the singer was in court in Yaba, where he lost his cool during cross-examination and was creating chaos in the courtroom.
Hopping on his Twitter Page, Davido explained that he never asked for full custody and asked for joint custody. He noted how nobody won or lost but Imade, so he doesn’t know why people are excited about it.
Davido announced that he has decided to drop the case because, while he was reprimanding Sophia’s lawyer, she became frustrated. After all, he was taking the lead. The music star said they brought in his deceased son as their last card, and that was the lowest blow.
The music star added that his daughter will grow up knowing he fought for her.

On his Instagram story, Davido also called out Sophia’s lawyer, revealing that he had been discharged in the courtroom. He noted how he was teaching him his work, and he couldn’t take it, so he went after his late son
“I disgraced you in the courtroom. I was teaching you your work; you couldn’t even take it, and then you went on to mention My Son. Like I said in the courtroom, I pray you never go through what me and my wife have gone through ever.
