Nigerian Afrobeat singer, Wizkid has disclosed why popular fashion brand, Puma, chose Davido over him.
Wizkid spoke on Wednesday in an outburst against Davido on social media.
Following the ongoing online supremacy battle between the two super stars, an X user @ Nelson Epega, accused Wizkid of being frustrated and jealous over Davido’s new deal with Puma.
Reacting to @Nelson Epega’s video, Wizkid in a viral post on X, stated that Puma settled for Davido because they couldn’t afford him.
Wizkid wrote: ” U idiot! I turned down Puma because they could no longer afford to pay me because I wanted more! Don’t need dat! Way bigger than every artiste you just mentioned! Not jealous ! love them all. With ur dirty ass shirt! Idiot!
“No ! Puma is a Big brand! But the budget they had for Africa wasn’t for me! Was cool for your client tho!”
