Former Real Madrid striker, Michael Owen has named Arsenal as the best team in the world at the moment.
Owen spoke while expressing skepticism about Arsenal striker Viktor Gyokeres being the solution to the Gunners’ offensive needs this season.
Speaking to Metro, the former England international also insisted that Arsenal create many chances against opponents.
Viktor Gyokeres is not for me, not really really,” Owen said said.
“I think he will definitely be a source of goals if you play him in every game. But then again, I could probably play in every game for Arsenal; they are the best team at the moment and create a lot of chances.
“But is he [Viktor Gyokeres] the answer? I’m not so sure. I think if the UEFA Champions League final was tomorrow, would Mikel Arteta play him? Or would he pick Jesus or Havertz? I think so. And that probably answers the question.”
