Nigerian socialite and friend of music star Davido, Cubana Chief Priest, has reacted to his Grammy loss.
Newsunplug reported that the singer, alongside Burna Boy and Ayra Starr, lost to South African singer Tyla for the Best African Music Performance award at the 2026 Grammy Awards, which was held on Sunday, February 1st.
Tyla clinched the prize with her song, Push 2 Start, ahead of Burna Boy’s Love, Davido’s With You featuring Omah Lay, Ayra Starr and Wizkid’s Gimme Dat, as well as Eddy Kenzo and Mehran Matin’s Hope & Love.
Reacting to his loss, Cubana said that the white men are trying to break a strong man like Davido, so he can do this demonic shit with them, but he wouldn’t bow.
He encouraged Davido to keep his head up, open the bag and drop another hot song for them.
