Tottenham Hotspur manager, Thomas Frank has named Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Vitinha as the player to win the next Ballon d’Or.
Frank spoke after Tottenham’s 5-3 defeat to PSG in the Champions League on Wednesday.
Recall that Vitinha’s hat-trick helped the French Ligue 1 champions defeat Spurs in France.
Speaking after the game, Frank said (via TNT Sports Football): “Vitinha puts it in the top corner, in that situation, is very tricky.
“And then the two goals, three and four, we can’t concede them if you want to win here.
“By the way, Vitinha, the best midfielder in the world, he will be the next Ballon d’Or winner for me.”
Vitinha was impressive for PSG last season as he helped Luis Enrique’s side win four trophies, including the UEFA Champions League and the French Ligue 1
