Nigerian singer Tiwa Savage recently shared a charming family memory on the premiere of her new series, Talks with Celia.
In an Instagram clip, Tiwa’s mother recounted a moment from the singer’s early childhood at Liverpool Street Market. She revealed that around the age of five, Tiwa briefly went missing while accompanying a family friend on a shopping trip.
Both women soon realized the little girl was nowhere in sight, sparking a frantic search. She was eventually found near a police van along the main road.
The story concluded on a humorous note, as her mother confessed that, out of relief, she gave Tiwa a light slap instead of a hug.
