Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has received an award for her humanitarian works.

The movie star, via her Instagram page, shared photos of her latest win, expressing her humbleness and honour in receiving the “Help of Help and Light of the Girl Child” award. She stated that the award is more than a recognition; it is a reminder that consistent love, intentional service, and unshakable purpose will always speak louder than words.

The philanthropist revealed that through her foundation, over 3,000 girls have been sent to school each year, not by chance, but through a deep, deliberate commitment to see women and girls rise beyond their limitations. She stated that from advocating for the voiceless to constructing roads for disabled communities, her journey has been one of showing up, again and again, for those who need it most.

Dikeh added that she isn’t just a helper; she is a helper for those who need help, and not just a voice, but a light in dark corners. She cheered to purpose, passion, and the power of being consistent in doing good.

“Humbled and honoured to receive the ‘Help of Helo and Light of the Girl Child’ award. This is more than a recognition; it is a reminder that consistent love, intentional service, and unshakable purpose will always speak louder than words.

Through the Tonto Dikeh Foundation, over 3,099 girls are sent to school every year – not by chance, but through a deep, deliberate commitment to see women and girls rise beyond their limitations. From advocating for the voiceless to constructing roads for disabled communities, my journey has been one of consistently showing up for those who need it most.

I am not just a helper – I am Help for Help.
I am not just a voice – I am light in dark corners.

This award belongs to every girl dreaming of more, and every woman who refused to be silenced.

Here’s to purpose, passion, and the power of being consistent in doing good”.
