Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed the termination of Igor Tudor’s contract as they continue in their quest to remain in the Premier League when the 2026/27 season kicks off.
The North London club .initially sacked Thomas Frank after the club suffered a dip in form but things have become worse under Igor Tudor with Tottenham staring relegation in the face with eight games until the end of the 2025/26 season. Tudor’s future at Spurs ended after he led them to a 3-0 defeat against Nottingham Forest despite an impressive outing against Atlético Madrid in the UEFA Champions League.
Tottenham announced the exit of Tudor on its official website on Sunday, March 29, 2026.
The statement read,
“We can confirm that it has been mutually agreed for Head Coach Igor Tudor to leave the Club with immediate effect. Tomislav Rogic and Riccardo Ragnacci have also left their respective roles of Goalkeeping Coach and Physical Coach. We thank Igor, Tomislav and Riccardo for their efforts during the past six weeks, in which they worked tirelessly. We also acknowledge the bereavement that Igor has recently suffered and send our support to him and his family at this difficult time. An update on a new Head Coach will be provided in due course.”
Tottenham Hotspur supporters will hope whoever is appointed on an interim basis will be able to steady the ship until the season ends and also keep them in the Premier League.
