Ademola Lookman has emerged as Inter Milan’s primary attacking target ahead of the 2025-26 season, according to Corriere dello Sport.

The Atalanta forward, who has enjoyed a prolific spell in Bergamo, is reportedly valued at €50 million by his current club.

Inter, however, are aiming to negotiate the price down to around €35 million, which aligns with their budget for a new forward.

Despite the valuation gap, the Nerazzurri are expected to push for a deal, identifying the Nigerian international as a key piece in their squad restructuring.

Lookman is not the only player on Inter’s radar. RB Leipzig striker Loïs Openda, AS Monaco’s Eliesse Ben Seghir, and Chelsea’s Christopher Nkunku are also under consideration, though Lookman leads the shortlist.

To accommodate a new striker, Inter are preparing to offload Mehdi Taremi, who has attracted interest from Fulham and Besiktas.

The club has already started overhauling its attacking options, parting ways with Joaquin Correa and Marko Arnautović, while bringing in Ange-Yoan Bonny from Parma and recalling Francesco Pio Esposito from a two-year loan at Spezia.

Inter’s interest in Lookman follows his standout performances for Atalanta, where he has established himself as one of Serie A’s most effective attackers.
