Chelsea, on Monday, announced that Frankie Runham will spend the rest of the season on loan at Championship club Ipswich Town.
Runham came through Chelsea’s development centre programme at the age of eight.
He has progressed through the youth ranks at the club’s Academy and featured regularly for their Under-18s as a schoolboy during the 2022/23 campaign.
“We look forward to supporting Frankie throughout his loan spell. Good luck, Frankie,” Chelsea’s statement partly read.
Meanwhile, in another development, Arsenal are holding talks with Hearts over an initial loan deal for striker James Wilson.
Wilson, 18, has less than two years left on his contract with the club, with an option to extend by another year.
