Chelsea has decided not to let defender Josh Acheampong leave the club for Premier League rivals Crystal Palace.
As per The Guardian, Chelsea rejected Crystal Palace’s bid to sign Acheampong on transfer deadline day.
Crystal Palace are desperate to bolster their defenders before the winter transfer window closes tonight.
With the latest development, Palace will have to search elsewhere for another defender.
Acheampong was an unused substitute as Chelsea defeated West Ham United 3-2 in the Premier League at the weekend.
The 19-year-old was promoted to Chelsea’s senior team in 2024.
