Liverpool and Arsenal, on transfer deadline day (Monday), confirmed the signing of two players.
The Reds, in a statement, confirmed that Jeremy Jacquet has agreed on a deal to join the reigning Premier League champions from Stade Rennais.
Jacquet plays as a defender and will complete the remainder of the season at the French Ligue 1 side.
However, the 20-year-old will join Arne Slot’s side in the summer on a long-term contract.
Jacquet has five caps for France U21s and has made 18 appearances for Rennes in his country’s top flight so far this season.
Similarly, Arsenal confirmed that Evan Mooney has joined the club’s academy from Scottish Premiership side St Mirren.
Mooney has made 23 appearances in all competitions for St Mirren since making his senior debut at the beginning of the 2024/25 campaign.
The 18-year-old is capable of playing in attacking midfield or as a centre-forward.
