Premier League club, Fulham have contacted Ajax Amsterdam for centre-back, Calvin Bassey.
According to The Athletic reporter and transfer expert, David Ornstein, the Cottagers have made an official bid in writing to the Eredivisie giants.
The proposal is worth around £15 million. Ajax are, however, yet to respond.
Bassey is also a subject of interest from another Premier League club, Brighton & Hove Albion.
The Nigeria international only joined Ajax from Scottish Premiership club, Rangers last summer.
The 23-year-old made a strong start but later lost his place in the team after a number of poor displays.
Fulham are looking for a replacement for Tosin Adarabioyo, who is expected to leave the club this summer.
