Arsenal attacker, Eddie Nketiah has given his verdict on the club’s new summer signing, Declan Rice.

The Gunners recently announced the signing of Rice from West Ham United this summer transfer window.

Reacting, Nketiah said that Rice, who joined Arsenal for £105 million, is a good addition to Mikel Arteta’s squad.

He also said that the England midfielder will help Arsenal in the upcoming new 2023/24 season.

Speaking about Rice, Nketiah said (via The Boot Room), “We have obviously played together from nine to 14, so we had that really solid relationship and that kind of foundation. “Obviously, I am close with his family; he is close with mine.”

He added, “It helps having that bit of a relationship with him, so, hopefully, he can remember how I like the passes played. It is good to have him, and I am sure he is going to be a really good addition and really help us this [2023/24] season.”
