Barcelona new boy Ilkay Gundogan has said that only Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi could compare to Erling Haaland.
Haaland was a crucial part of the City team that won the Premier League, FA Cup and Champions League in a single season.
The Norway international scored 52 goals across competitions for the Cityzens
Gundogan is off to Barcelona after helping Manchester City to a successful season. The German’s switch to the Catalan giants was confirmed on Sunday evening.
“Honestly, I didn’t know what to expect when he came here,” Gundogan said of Haaland, according to Hindustan Times.
“But when I got to know him, I was so surprised how someone could be that talented and still have the will to be even better every single day.
“He’s never satisfied. I feel like there are no limits for him. Messi and Ronaldo are the only comparisons for the level he could reach.”
