Watford have pulled out of the deal to sign Nigerian striker, Emmanuel Dennis, NEWSUNPLUG reports.
Dennis’ contract was mutually terminated by Premier League club, Nottingham Forest in August.
The 27-year-old has been training with Watford since then with the hope of signing a contract with the club.
The London outfit were reportedly willing to offer the player a one-and-a-half-year contract before having a rethink.
The Watford Observer is reporting that the Hornets could revisit the deal in January.
Dennis has had two different stints with Watford in the past.
The versatile forward first joined the club in 2021, and returned for a loan stint in January 2024.
