Super Eagles midfielder, Kelechi Nwakali has joined Portuguese Primiera club, GD Chaves.
Nwakali penned a two-year contract with the Flavienses.
The 25-year-old left Spanish club, SD Ponferradina at the end of last season.
The former Arsenal player was allowed by Ponferradina to leave on a free transfer following the club’s relegation.
Nwakali spent one season at Ponferradina and scored once in 33 league appearances.
He has previously played in Belgium and Portugal.
GD Chaves finished seventh in the Portuguese league last season.mik
