Chelsea manager, Mauricio Pochettino has confirmed they are in the market for a new midfielder.
The Blues have allowed Mateo Kovacic to join Manchester City, while N’Golo Kante left for Al-Ittihad as a free agent.
Mason Mount has also signed for Manchester United in a £60million deal.
These departures leave Pochettino light in midfield and the former PSG boss wants to strengthen.
“Yes I think we need [a player] there [in midfield], for sure,” Pochettino said.
“But I think it is clear. Everyone knows that we need to add some players there.”
Chelsea are being strongly linked with Brighton’s Moises Caicedo.
