Real Madrid’s summer signing, Jude Bellingham, has said that he got advice from the club’s former midfielder David Beckham after his move to Los Blancos.
Bellingham said that Beckham had told him to filter out the negative messages, wishing him all the best at his new club.
The England international recently moved to Real Madrid this summer from Borussia Dortmund after snubbing a move to Liverpool.
“David Beckham messaged me briefly to wish me all the best. It is one of those moves where everyone has their input from the outside, so you do hear a lot of things and advice,” Bellingham told PA news agency.
“I am quite good at filtering out the good from the bad. So far, it has been really positive from ex-players. I will try and take that on board and at some point, maybe get in touch with them and see how they adapted to life in Spain,” he said.
