Al Nassr forward, Cristiano Ronaldo, has spoken to two of his former Real Madrid team-mates about joining him in Saudi Arabia.

This comes after they lost to Al Hilal in the King’s Cup final this week.

Marca reports that Ronaldo has called up Nacho Fernandez and Casemiro in an effort to convince them to move to the Middle East.

Both players are uncertain club futures this summer and Ronaldo is personally taking the lead in trying to lure them to the Saudi Pro League.

An emotional Ronaldo was in tears after his side lost the Saudi Cup final defeat, consigning his team to a trophyless season.

The 39-year-old clearly believes that the way to rectify that next season will be to move for more experienced players, who have a pedigree in winning trophies.
