Arsenal legend, Ian Wright, has insisted that the club’s summer signing Kai Havertz will surprise many with his quality next season.
Wright also said that Arsenal fans will love Havertz, who joined Mikel Arteta’s side from Chelsea this summer.
Recall that Arsenal recently signed Havertz, 24, for £65 million from Chelsea on a five-year deal.
“I feel very, very confident about that midfield and what that midfield can produce,” Wright said on his Ringer FC podcast. “Especially with [Kai] Havertz.
“Havertz in that role, I think we’re going to be very surprised by his quality as well. Arsenal fans are going to love him.
“We have not seen anything from him at Chelsea. Yes, he’s scored the winning goal in a [UEFA] Champions League final and stuff like that.”
Havertz had played for Bayer Leverkusen in the past, scoring many goals for the Bundesliga side.
