New Aston Villa signing, Youri Tielemans has explained why he left Leicester City to join the Premier League club.
Aston Villa on Saturday morning confirmed the signing of Tielemans from Leicester on a free transfer.
Explaining his decision to join Aston Villa, the Belgium international said Aston Villa manager Unai Emery convinced him to join the club.
Tielemans said at his first interview after joining Villa: “When I had a few chats with the manager [Emery], his ambition, his passion and the way he led the team impressed me and made me decide to come to Aston Villa.
“It is a big club. I am really excited. I am really looking forward to it. I can’t wait to get started.”
