A couple and their four children have been reportedly crushed to d@ath by a truck driver in Gusau, the Zamfara State capital.
The accident occurred along Gusau Hotel roundabout at about 8:30 a.m. on Sunday, September 29, 2024.
According to an eyewitness account, the truck driver was said to be reversing when he smashed into the victims who were on a motorcycle.
It was gathered that the truck driver fled the scene. Operatives of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) have evacuated bodies of the victims.
A member of the Yoruba community in Gusau, Reedwan Abdulazeez, who confirmed the tragic incident said the victims were buried on Sunday evening.
Security expert, Zagazola Makama, also confirmed the incident.
