The truck driver who crushed to death a recent graduate of Abia State Polytechnic, Aba, has been taken into custody.
Mary Ogechi Ezekiel, who graduated with a distinction from the Department of Accounting, had gone to school on Tuesday, March 5, for clearance in preparation for NYSC.
However, as she exited the school gate, a tricycle hit her and before she could get up, a fast-moving truck crushed her to death, (read here).
After the accident, students of the school staged a protest and blocked the expressway.
The police stepped in and calmed the angry students before detaining the driver.
An investigation is underway.
