Galatasaray head coach, Okan Buruk has declared that Victor Osimhen and Mauro Icardi’s partnership will be great for the team.

The Yellow and Reds took the decision to sign Osimhen on loan from Napoli after Icardi sustained an injury before the start of the campaign.

The pair are however yet to play together in a competitive game, with Icardi recently returning to team’s training.

Buruk also has another experienced forward, Michy Batshuayi at his disposal.

The gaffer stated that pairing Osimhen and Icardi together will make his team more competitive.

” We have plans and thoughts. What we really need to focus on is teamwork and success. Each of our players is very valuable. Everyone will play,” Buruk told the club’s official website.

“We will also have rotations from time to time. We will sometimes make player changes in the intense tempo. This is one of our thoughts. The possibility of two great players like Icardi and Osimhen playing together will always be very high for us.”

Osimhen registered two assists in his first two starts for the Turkish Super Lig champions.
