Galatasaray president Durzan Özbek has confirmed Victor Osimhen will be available for the Istanbul derby with Fenerbahce, DAILY POST reports.
Osimhen is currently recuperating from the injury he sustained while on international duty with Nigeria last Sunday.
The 26-year-old has already been ruled out of Okan Buruk’s side Super Lig clash with Gençlerbirliği on Saturday (today).
Özbek, however, expects the striker to be fit for the intercontinental derby with Fenerbahce on December 1.
“He’ll likely have a recovery period of approximately two weeks. Our focus is on Osimhen being ready for the Fenerbahçe match. Our doctors are working on that,” Özbek told Hurriyet.
Osimhen has netted nine times in 12 league outings for Galatasaray this season.
