Victor Osimhen was on target twice as Galatasaray survived a late fightback to beat Samsunspor in a thrilling Turkish Super Lig clash on Friday night.

Galatasaray opened the scoring through Germany international Leroy Sané after eight minutes.

Osimhen doubled the home team’s advantage one minute before the half-hour mark after being teed up by Sané.

Samsunspor, however, fought back in the second half with two superb goals.

Anthony Musaba reduced the deficit for the visitors in the 56th minute.

They levelled through Emre Kilinç two minutes from time.

Osimhen, however, netted the winning goal for Galatasaray with a bicycle kick deep into stoppage time.

Galatasaray remain top of the table with 36 points from 15 games.

Meanwhile, Samsunspor maintained fifth position with 25 points from the same number of matches.
