Paul Onuachu has handed Trabzonspor a major boost after returning to training ahead of this weekend’s Istanbul derby with Fenerbahce, NEWSUNPLUG reports.
The Nigeria international picked a knock in Trabzonspor’s 3-0 win at Samsunspor last weekend.
The striker was named Man of the Match after scoring twice against Samsunspor.
Onuachu took part in Wednesday’s training session putting him in contention to feature against Fenerbahce.
The 31-year-old is currently the leading scorer in the Turkish Super Lig with 15 goals.
Trabzonspor occupy third position on the standings, four points behind second-placed Fenerbahce.
Saturday’s encounter will hold at the Papara Park.
