Two residents jailed three months for indiscriminate dumping of refuse in Lagos

Two residents, Kingsley Adieme and Rachel Onyekachi, were sentenced to 3 months in prison for indiscriminate dumping of refuse in Lagos State.

The State Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, disclosed that the duo was arraigned before the magistrate court sitting at Bolade, Oshodi on Tuesday, April 7, 2026.

They both pled guilty, Wahab added.
