Two women arrested for stealing 15 wrappers and other household items in Minna

The Niger State Police Command has arrested two women for stealing 15 wrappers and other household items in Minna.

Spokesperson of the command, SP Wasiu Abiodun, who disclosed this in a statement on Thursday, July 10, 2025 said the suspects, Jamila Nuhu and Fatima Mohammed, confessed to the crime.

“On 3rd July, 2025 based on a direct complaint received at ‘A’ Div Minna that a suspected house help has been stealing some of their properties within Limawa area of Minna, and in the course of the investigation, the suspect one Jamila Nuhu 23yrs of Limawa was arrested in connection with the theft,” the statement read.

“During interrogation, she confessed to the theft in conspiracy with a friend of hers; Fatima Mohammed 20yrs of Angwan-Daji. She was also arrested.

“Discreet investigation led to the recovery of about fifteen wrappers and other kitchen utensils from the suspects within Minna and even in Kaduna State, where she sent some of the items to her relatives.”
