Super Eagles head coach, Jose Peseiro is happy with the quality of players in the Golden Eaglets camp.

Peseiro attended the team’s training session at the NFF/FIFA Goal Project pitch, in Abuja on Tuesday.

The Golden Eaglets are preparing for the 2023 Africa U-17 Cup of Nations.

“I am impressed with what I have seen with the performance of the players here. Nigeria is known for having very talented players, so I am, therefore, not surprised with the performance of these players,” Peseiro was quoted by thenff.com.

“You have to keep working hard and keep improving your game. Unfortunately, not all the players here will be selected. You should not give up if you fail to make the final team,” he added.

Nduka Ugbade opened camp for the competition three weeks ago.

The Eaglets, two-time African champions will face Morocco, South Africa and Zambia in Group B of the 2023 U-17 AFCON.

Algeria will host the competition from April 29 to May 19.
