The Flying Eagles cannot afford to underrate Uganda in Thursday’s quarter-fnal clash at the 2023 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations, head coach Ladan Bosso has said.
Bosso’s side will head into the game at Suez Canal Stadium, Ismailia, as the favourites going by their past achievements and quality.
The Flying Eagles have won the title seven times and have been Impressive in Egypt 2023 despite a slow start.
But Bosso has cautioned his players that the Hippos will be a tough nut to crack.
“The Ugandan team are equally qualified and they’re our next opponents and we cannot underrate any team,” Bosso was quoted by CAFonline.
The winner of the game will earn a berth at the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Indonesia.
