Real Madrid boss, Xabi Alonso has named forward, Kylian Mbappe as the club’s first penalty taker.
Alonso spoke at his pre-match press conference ahead of Real Madrid’s UEFA Champions League tie with Liverpool on Tuesday night at Anfield.

“Who takes penalties? We decide who will take them, it’s Kylian,” Alonso said as quoted by The TouchlineX.

“Then, the players make the decisions. Tomorrow, the first taker is Mbappé.”

Mbappe joined Real Madrid from French Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain last year.

The France captain has been impressive for the Los Blancos so far this season.

The 26-year-old won the top scorer award in the LaLiga and Europe last season.
