Head coach of the Brazil football national team, Carlo Ancelotti, has named four comebacks in UEFA Champions League matches that Real Madrid will never forget.

Ancelotti was a former Real Madrid manager before he left a few months ago to coach the Brazil national football team.

The Italian won several trophies, including the Champions League, during his time at Real Madrid.

Speaking with Spanish Journalist Tomás Roncero, Ancelotti said Real Madrid’s comebacks against Chelsea, Bayern Munich, Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain will stay with the Los Blancos forever.

“Looking back, we had a wonderful time – incredible years. Not just because of the trophies, but everything it took to win them,” Ancelotti said (via AS).

“The Champions League comebacks are unforgettable memories. If we go back to those nights against PSG, Chelsea, City, Bayern Munich at the Bernabéu – they will never be forgotten, nobody will forget those games and they will stay with us forever.”

In the 2021/22 Champions League season, Real Madrid suffered a 1-0 defeat at PSG in the Round of 16, but won 3-1 in the return leg at Santiago Bernabeu.

Also, in the same season, Real Madrid won 3-1 against Chelsea in the first leg of the quarter-final fixture at Stamford Bridge, but were forced to make a great escape in the return leg after coming a 3-0 down to score two goals as they lost 3-2, but progressed to the next stage.

Also, in the same season, Real Madrid lost 4-3 against Manchester City in the first leg of the semi-final encounter and won 3-1 in the return leg.

In the 2023/24 campaign, Real Madrid played a 2-2 draw with Bayern Munich in the first leg of the semi-final tie, but won 2-1 at Santiago Bernabeu.
