Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta, heaped praised on four players in his team after they thrashed Atletico Madrid 4-0 in the Champions League on Tuesday night.
The Gunners failed to score in the first half, but the floodgates were opened after the break.
Gabriel Magalhaes opened the scoring with a header, before Gabriel Martinelli finished off a fine move to make it 2-0.
Viktor Gyokeres added two more goals as Arsenal pulled off an emphatic victory at the Emirates.
After the game, Arteta hailed Myles Lewis-Skelly, Martinelli, Gyokeres and Declan Rice.
“That’s him, that’s his quality,” Arteta said about Lewis-Skelly’s assist.
“The way he carries the ball, the ability he has to release the ball in the right moment.
“Martinelli as well, I thought he was superb today. It’s really good to see the impact they had on the team.
“[I am] delighted [for Gyokeres] as he fully deserved it. The workrate he brings to the team is outstanding.
“[Rice’s set-piece delivery] was superb. We could have scored in the first half – but [we] have that ability to score those types of goals.”
