Atalanta head coach Ivan Juric praised Ademola Lookman for his performance in the club’s win over Club Brugge on Tuesday.
La Dea rallied to beat Nicky Hayen’s side 2-1 in a UEFA Champions League matchday two encounter at the Gewiss Stadium.
Lookman made his first start of the season for Atalanta in the game.
Centre-back, Ederson also featured in the game after his return from injury.
Juric reserved plaudits for the duo, who have become crucial players for La Dea in recent years.
“They’re quality players. They’ve been training with us for a while, I think that today is a good opportunity for them to start playing in matches,” Juric told Sky Sport Italia.
