Ahead of the second match of their UEFA Champions League playoff tie in Spain, Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappe has told Benfica winger Gianluca Prestianni not to attend the game at Santiago Bernabeu.
According to Mbappe, an alleged racist like the Argentine player does not deserve to be at the best stadium in the world.
The French player made this comment after Vinicius Junior said the winger called him a monkey during the first match of the playoff in Portugal on Tuesday night.
Meanwhile, UEFA has made an official statement about the racial abuse incident, saying they are looking into the matter right now.
UEFA stated that they have appointed an “Ethics and Disciplinary Inspector” to investigate what occurred during the match.
Mbappe had agreed with Vinicius that Prestianni made racist comments towards him by saying he heard the word ‘monkey’ used against Vinicius five times.
Prestianni, however, responded on social media to deny the claims, saying his words were misunderstood.
But Kylian Mbappé told TNT Sports, “I think Gianluca Prestianni shouldn’t come to the Bernabéu, which is the best stadium in the world. He doesn’t deserve it, he shouldn’t play”.
